April 8, 2019 fires were detected by the staff of the Zhambyl Aviation Branch

On April 8, 2019, during the air patrolling of the territory protected by the Zhambyl Aviation Division, 2 fires were discovered in the state reserve lands adjacent to the state forest fund (near the villages of Zhambyl and Kumozek). Information on fires was immediately transmitted to ground fire extinguishing services to take prompt measures to contain and eliminate fires. The total fire area at the time of detection is 1.03 ha.

The beginning of forest-aviation works by Ust-Kamenogorsk aviation Department

On April 13, 2019, specialists of the Ust-Kamenogorsk aviation Department performed the first flight of the protected area.
