The Bukebaevsky aviation department of the Kazavialesoohrana State Enterprise performs one of the main tasks of forest protection and protection.

The main principle of aviation forest protection is timely detection, localization, and elimination of emerging forest fires in small areas. In parallel with air patrol, work is being carried out on forest pathological control and identification of violations of environmental legislation in forests. The frequency of patrolling in the serviced area is carried out according to the KPO (Fire hazard class) in forests. The likelihood of forest fires most often occurs in dry, hot weather, as well as during dry thunderstorms, which is very often common in the forest belt forests near the Irtysh. The main causes of forest fires are careless handling of fire, not extinguished fires, butts and matches.

The success of our work largely depends on the interaction with the land-based forest guard. Also, explanatory work is carried out with the population on fire safety in forests. The life of the forests depends on each of us, only through joint efforts we will preserve our nature for the future generation. It should always be remembered that the forest is our wealth! Also, the listeners were familiarized with the precautions when a forest fire is detected, the actions of a person lost in the forest, and the observance of sanitary standards when visiting the forest. Fire propaganda leaflets were also distributed.

On October 21, 2020, a fire was discovered on the territory of 70 and 74 quarters of the Malovodnicheskoe forestry, the Turgen branch. The forces and means of the Turgen branch and the Almaty aviation department were thrown into the fight against the fire element. More than 70 people were involved in the localization of the fire, including 7 paratroopers-firefighters of the Almaty aviation department, more than 15 pieces of equipment, a helicopter.

4. to burn out grass in forest glades, clearings, meadows and stubble in the fields of the state forest fund and in areas directly adjacent to forests.

As a result of the joint forest aviation work, two facts of violation of environmental legislation were revealed. During the inspection of the places of revealed violations, means of illegal fishing were found and seized.
