The forces and means of the Katon-Karagay aviation department, the EMERCOM of the East Kazakhstan region and employees of the ground forest guard were thrown into the fight against the fire element. From the moment the fire was discovered, a Mi-8 helicopter was sent to the fire site. As of September 6, work is underway to extinguish the fire.

To extinguish the fire, a Mi-8 helicopter from the Republican State Enterprise "Kazavialesoohrana" with a spillway device on an external sling was involved, from which a total of 3 targeted water drops were performed on the fires. With the help of a helicopter, paratroopers-firefighters and employees of the ground forest guard were delivered to the place of fire. Tanks P-1.00 and RDV were also delivered to the site of the fire by helicopter. As of September 5, work is underway to extinguish the fire.
