On May 4, 2019 a steppe fire was discovered by employees of the Zhambyl aviation department
To the site of fire from a helicopter, paratroopers-firefighters were disembarked to extinguish the fire and prevent its further spread. After a long and persistent struggle, the fire was localized and eliminated in all directions. To eliminate the fire, the following were involved: helicopter, pilot-observer, 4 paratrooper-fire Zhambyl aviation department. Fire area 3 ha.
